Delete Account

DirectDrive Now collects the following data to provide our ride-sharing service:
- Precise location data — collected during app use and in the background (for drivers) to match riders with nearby drivers, set accurate pickup points, track rides in real-time, and ensure passenger safety.
- Name and phone number — used for account creation, authentication, and communication between riders and drivers.
- Email address — used for account identification and support.
- Profile photo — optionally provided for driver identification.
- Vehicle information — collected from drivers, including vehicle details, license plate, and seat capacity.
- Ride history — records of completed rides for billing, support, and safety purposes.
All data is encrypted in transit. Location data is not shared with third parties.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly within the DirectDrive Now app:
- Open the app and navigate to Settings
- Tap Edit Profile
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion in the dialog
If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing info@directdrivenow.com.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed or anonymized:
- Name, phone number, and email are anonymized
- Profile photo is permanently deleted
- Vehicle information, license plate, and seat capacity are removed
- Location data is cleared
- Organization memberships are removed
- Push notification tokens are deleted
- Shift assignments and ban records are deleted
- Login history is cleared
Anonymized ride records may be retained for legal compliance and safety audit purposes. These records cannot be linked back to your identity.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
